Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: October 26, 2026

Everyone with a cuntymail address shares the same domain. That means one person's spam can get everyone's mail sent to junk folders. These rules keep the domain in good standing for all of us.

Don't

  • Spam. No bulk email, cold-outreach campaigns, mailing lists people didn't sign up for, or newsletters. This address is for your personal mail.
  • Scam or phish. No tricking people into handing over money, passwords, or personal information.
  • Impersonate. Don't pretend to be a real person, company, brand, or government body, and don't make it look like your address is official (like "support" or "security" for some company).
  • Harass. No threats, stalking, hate, or abuse aimed at anyone.
  • Break the law. Nothing illegal where you or the recipient live, including sharing illegal content, fraud, or infringing someone's copyright or trademark.
  • Send malware. No viruses, malicious links, or attachments meant to cause harm.
  • Abuse the system. Don't try to get around sending limits, overload our servers, or break into other people's addresses.

Sending limits

The whole domain has a shared daily sending limit, so normal personal use is fine but heavy sending isn't. If your address is sending far more than a person normally would, we may pause it while we look into it.

What happens if you break the rules

Depending on how serious it is, we may:

  1. Email you a warning.
  2. Pause your address.
  3. Delete your address permanently, with no refund.

For serious cases like phishing, fraud, or illegal content, we may skip straight to step 3. We may also report illegal activity to the authorities.

Reporting abuse

If someone with a cuntymail address is spamming, scamming, impersonating, or harassing you, email us@cuntymail.com with the subject line "Abuse report". Please include:

  • the cuntymail address involved,
  • what happened, and
  • a copy of the email if you have one. Forwarding it as an attachment is best, since that keeps the technical details.

We read every report. We aim to respond within 2 business days, and faster for urgent cases like phishing. We may not be able to tell you exactly what action we took, because the other person has privacy too.

If you think an address infringes your trademark or impersonates you or your organization, use the same email and tell us who you are and what you own.

Changes

We may update this policy as new kinds of abuse come up. The current version is always at cuntymail.com/acceptable-use.
